“If I’m going to spend money on one thing for my child, I want it to be her education.”

Explanation Of Fees

Tuition – The tuition helps to cover the expense of staff salaries.  The tuition can be paid in full in August for a 5% discount or it may be paid in ten (10) monthly installments. The first month’s installment is due before attending the first day of school. The remaining installments are due by the 1st day of each month. A $10.00 charge per child will be added to each account that has not had a payment made on it by the 10th. There is a $30 NSF fee for all returned checks. Any student with an account balance over 60 days will be asked to withdraw until arrangements can be made to pay the account in full.

Registration Fee – The non-refundable registration fee helps cover the cost of the school’s accreditation fees.  This fee is due once the student has been accepted to MVCA.  The student’s position will not be secured until this fee is paid.  Any student with an outstanding balance will not be allowed to register for the upcoming school year until their account has been paid in full.

The registration fees are $55.00 if paid by 4/1; $65.00 if paid before 5/1; $75.00 if paid before 6/1; $85.00 if paid before 7/1; $95 if paid before 8/1; and $105 after 8/1.

Academic/Book Fee – This non-refundable fee will cover the cost/rental of books, locker fees (grades 7th – 12th), insurance, and graduation fees (grades K5 and 12th).  This fee is due once the student has been accepted to MVCA.  The student’s position will not be secured until this fee is paid.  NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE!

Communications /Tech Fee – A $10.00 fee is charged monthly for each student to cover the cost of communications made available through paper and electronic means as well as access to Tablets in every room. This fee is charged directly to the accounts and may be paid in full at the beginning of the year.  This fee is non-refundable.

Testing/Placement Fee – The testing/placement fee covers the cost of Stanford test in April, any testing that may be necessary upon entry to MVCA or when a question arises as to whether or not a student should be promoted to the next grade.  This fee is due only when applicable and is non-refundable.

Athletic Fee – This non-refundable fee helps to cover the expense of sports equipment, uniforms, referees, etc.  It is due before a student is allowed to practice, play or participate with a team.  These fees are due at the beginning of each sports season. Coaches may request extra funds or help in fundraising to upgrade or add special equipment.

NOTE:  The fees are intended to help defray expenses. There may be expenses to the student associated with school life through the course of the year that are not included in these fees.
